I decided to go for a walk. I set off in my chosen direction. Eventually I returned to my starting point.

Curiously, ‘go for a walk’ (i.e walk for pleasure, often without a destination in mind) translates as a phrase – not a single word – in many languages. For example, in French the usual translation is ‘faire une promenade’ – literally, ‘make a promenade’. However, interestingly, in Russian to do something for a short while can sometimes be translated with the prefix ‘по-‘: thus we can translate ‘go for a walk’ as ‘погулÑть’, which means ‘walk for a (short) while’.
Very interesting. I find myself doing the same thing fairly often, although occasionally I find myself somewhere that is not my original starting point.
This is truly inspirational. The thought process that went into you decidng to go for a walk, the direction you chose to go. You ending up at your starting point was really unexpected, though, I think you should tone it down a bit (we can’t have too much excitement).
I like to picture this blog like a real-time, continuous and comprehensive update of the author’s life.
For eg. He sat down in June 2011 ( the second most recent post) and he’s been sitting down right up to April 2013 (this post) when he finally goes for a walk. Who knows what lies ahead. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next update.
This website is psychotic. Am I the only one seeing this? I mean this could trigger an actual mini episode, or at the very least, that sense of panic (attack) you get when you feel you’re wasting your time/life.
Thanks for breaking your long hiatus. My life was starting to become way too exciting.
YOU’RE BACK
Since your last update, this blog is all over the place. So much happening in such a short time. Dull it is not.
I want my money back.
Hiatus? What hiatus?
pictures or it didn’t happen
Amazingly the same thing happened to me some weeks ago.
Welcome back!
A thrilling plot and epic conclusion. I simply can not wait for the movie!
I read your blog. I decided to leave a comment.
For a second there I was afraid this was going to be an exciting story. Thanks for not letting me down and keeping it dull!
This is far too dull! My walk is a lot more exiciting – I set off in my starting point and returned to the chosen direction!
You have been walking since June 7th, 2011
Too exciting for me

What’s the matter? Life too hectic to update your blog?
This blog is way too rambling.
I want to be your friend. You are so cool!
