Sitting down

I was standing up. It occurred to me that a more comfortable posture would be preferable. I located a chair and sat down.

oh dear i missed it.. the moment when you decide to sit down.
since there’s no new entry, are you still sitting down?
I believe it is a chair with little rollers so you can move around without compromising your sitting down decision.

I read some of your blog. It made me smile slightly. I then decided I would leave a comment, which I am doing.

This blog is too fast-paced for me. I’m busy enough already. In a world with a 24×7 news cycle, who has the time to read this much???

my chair spins and is blue. there is a stain on it as i once spilled tea on it and didn’t clean it up straight away. I’d like a new chair.

i too sat down, not because i want to be comfortable. but standing up was becoming rather interesting.

  10. ashley says:

sitting, standing, laying down they are all basically the same the impetrable motion of the body. Your body unintentionally thinks to itself that oh hey im tired of doing this so lets do this instead but if you dont let your mind wonder or think then your body never says or thinks that its tired of one thing and needs another

    Commenting

I was about to leave my computer, then I located this site. After reading the latest post, I decided to leave a comment on it after finding it uninteresting. Afterwards, I stood up and walked away.

I feel I need to post an interesting comment. I was standing up. I wanted to sit down. But then I realized my life would be more interesting if I did something adventurous. So I took a step 6 inches to the right! Unlike you dull creatures, I am living like to the fullest.

  25. Anonymous says:

  26. Buddhaman says:

What happened next? There has been no entry for 18 months. Did you die of boredom or can you just not be arsed to write any more? Such a shame if so – this blog MUST continue.

  27. Snaarman says:

Following your advice from November 2003, I used the kettle to boil some water. I am now sitting down.

    What is wrong with you.

  34. Preston says:

You have shown a wise and deep understanding of making smart decisions. You seem to know such deep knowledge of sitting, rather than standing with your legs supporting all your weight. I cannot wait for your next move. I am on the edge of my seat of my chair that I had decided to sit in when I did not want to stand anymore, just like you.

I was watching Monty Python’s ‘Life of Brian’ this evening (sitting, except for when I went to the fridge for a beer.) There was a man on the film who said that people who get to sit down should consider themselves fortunate. He claimed that such people don’t even realise they are living.
