Picking up a 2 pence coin

I was in the living room and saw a 2 pence coin on the floor. I leant down, picked up the coin and put it in my pocket, thus enabling me to spend it at a later date.

This arbitrary appearance or otherwise of a penny in any particular space, were it to occur on a regular basis, might best be described as non cents cycle.

I once found 12 pennies in a stack behind the fridge. Unfortunately it was entrapped in another person’s hand before I could reach it. I had always wondered where that hole in the wall led.
