Picking up a piece of rubbish

I saw that there was a small piece of rubbish on the ground. I stooped over and picked it up. Seeing a litter bin nearby I carried the item a short distance and deposited it in the bin.

This entry is stylized in a much more British fasion than the junk mail piece. I smell a controversy!

    It wasn’t recycleable, was it?

It all depends on the chemical make-up of this litter. If it were a newspaper, possibly from a bag of chips (that’s fries to you Americans), then it would be easy to recycle if a recepticle is near to the site.

You said you saw apiece of rubbish on the ground. How would you know it was rubbish until you actually picked it up? I think you have made it up.

Yesterday I spotted a person walking down the street. They paused to throw some rubbish on the sidewalk. I quickly repositioned myself to where they stood and reprimanded them. They ignored me and walked away. I stood there for a moment considering my options. I decided not to pick up the rubbish because the bacteria could have gotten on my mittens.

    We should date.
