A light in one of the rooms of my house was on. I decided that I didn’t need the light on any longer. I pressed the light switch thereby turning off the light.

This is very interesting, by putting the light switch into the off position, it turned the light off. Never thought that could be possible.
… i started writing a comment, thereby writing what i needed to say.
Woah, dude, that’s wild
I find turning off lights to be an inefficent waste of time. If I were you, I would not turn them on in the first place.
Exciting! Singlehandedly creating a short in the series circuit of your lighting system, and creating infinite resistance at the point of the switch. If only I had the capacitance to do so.
Yeah, I do that a lot too.
Good to see this blog’s got an ecological conscience.
Very adequate.
ya, thats rite! lets go green!
Is there an entry about him turning the light ON?
you do not take things for granted do you. you use what is needed and dont strain or over us things.
has the world not caused you to be gready?

KUDOS for YOU!!
My light has a pull cord when i pull it down it goes on ,but heres the clever part ,when i pull it down ,it goes off.its weird too when its in the on position i can see everything ,but when the switch is in the off position i lose my sight ,i must remember to tell my doctor this incase it gets worse with age !
halogens, indoor. fireflies, outdoors.
Your entry would have been much more interesting if you had mentioned a dimmer switch.
I died of boredom trying to read this blog. I just closed my eyes and fell dreamlessly asleep. But personal nonexistence is still less boring than this blog.
okay dude has problems
why use a light swich to turn the light off??? :O
U could have just pressed a AC switch π
My light switch is broken. therfore i can not turn on, or off, my light switch. This is both non-helpful and helpful. It’s helpful because If I leave the light switch in the ‘On’ posistion, there is no need to use energy on lifting my right or left hand to turn it off. It’s non-helpful because the second I use my right or left foot to step into the room, my eye sight is black.
I still think the Paris Hilton blog is more boring than this one.
Dude tose things are wicked awesome!
you should make a novel!
Ha ha ha

In response to Jude of the world, I must insist that you cease your incessant butchery of the english language, and learn to speak properly, before returning to this blog. Your speech could provoke a retaliation, thereby creating some minor form of excitement.
The switch says “off” and I want it to “dim”…the switch said I was “dim.”
Thanks for sharing…..
solstice – and so the turns with the promise of longer, brighter days.
I forgot to place the word ‘earth’ between ‘the’ and ‘turns’…ho hum…
This is more exciting than the oratory of Joe Biden
i applaud you for that talent. i have tried this task numerous times and always came out with negative results.
i suggest getting a automatic switch
this has brought tears to my eyes i never thought it could be possible thanks for making the dream come true
What was the tint of the light?
May I suggust the Clapper?
I have recently installed a light-bulb, allowing me access to both the on and off position.
This pleased me.
I turn my light off with my head thank you very much.

Next time, try saying out loud: Let there be darkness!
It’ll give a spiritual touch to your experience.
You could win the Turner Prize with this one…
