Drumming my fingers on the arm of the chair

I was sitting down on one of the chairs in my house. My hand was resting on the arm of the chair. I started to drum my fingers on the arm, thereby making a barely audible sound.

I too find myself tapping away. Sometimes I get wild and tap my foot along with my finger.

    Nikki Underwood…

…if you want to get really wild, continue tapping your foot with your finger, and slightly nod your head. Remain as subtle and discreet as possible.

  3. Luke says:

I tap the hell out of my keyboard at work. Well, it’s almost more of a feirce strike than a tap. This is because I am a fast typer and I play the piano.

  4. Joel says:

Easy Luke… You used a lot of adjectives. Adjectives are descriptive statements that can make things interesting. I feel your comment is inappropriate for this blog.

  8. Jon says:

I often find that when I tap on something with my fingers, I tap first with my pinkie, then proceed with my ring finger, then the middle finger and finally my index finger…usually in rapid succession.

  9. DIINGOPINGOWINGO says:

If u want to be, like, crazy wild, then nod your head, tap fingers, tap foot, and blink your eyes. The noise, I imagine, will be deafening.

I drummed my fingers once. But it was on a desk. I imagine theat drumming one’s fingers on a desk would be noticeably more audible than on the arm of a chair.

Inspired by these comments, I was planning to drum my fingers according to Jon`s method (above). Unfortunately the phone rang before I could start and I had to abandon the entire project.
