Looking at a lawn

Whilst outside in the open air I noticed an area of grass. I stopped for a moment and looked at the lawn.

Sitting idly for a few moments

I decided to take a short break from the tasks I was carrying out. I found a chair and sat idly for a few moments. When this time had elapsed I continued with my activities.

Pulling my chair a few inches towards the table

I was sitting at the table and realised that I would be more comfortable if my chair was a couple of inches nearer to the table. I moved the chair forward slightly, thus lessening the gap between me and the table. I was then able to continue what I was doing in greater comfort.

Walking along at a steady pace

I needed to get somewhere and decided to walk there. I wasn’t particularly early or particularly late, so I walked along at a steady pace.

Making a note of something on a piece of paper

Earlier on I heard something that I wanted to remember. I found a pen and wrote it down on a piece of paper. If I need to be reminded of the information at any point I will find the piece of paper and read it.

Replacing the lid on a container

I noticed that after eating my lunch a tub of low fat spread remained on the kitchen work surface. It did not have a lid on. I remedied the situation by replacing the lid and returning the container to the refrigerator.

Looking at my watch

I was busy doing some things and began to wonder how much time had elapsed. I glanced at my watch and saw the time displayed, thus providing an answer to my question.

Folding a newspaper in half

A newspaper was sitting on the table. I folded it in half so that it would use up slightly less space, thereby freeing up an area on the table for other items.

Pausing briefly to look at the bottle bank

Whilst walking along I passed the bottle bank, a large receptacle used for recycling glass objects. I looked at it briefly, then continued on my way.

Picking up a 2 pence coin

I was in the living room and saw a 2 pence coin on the floor. I leant down, picked up the coin and put it in my pocket, thus enabling me to spend it at a later date.
